- 1946
- Noyaku Kyokai（Crop Protection Association）was established to inspect and regulate CPPs.
- 1953
- Noyaku Kyokai（Crop Protection Association）split into the Japan Crop Protection Association and Japan Plant Protection Association.
- 2021
- As of May 2021, JCPA consists of 34 full member companies（CPP manufacturing companies）and 42 supporting member companies（trading firms, MRO companies, etc.）.
CPP manufacturing and sales by JCPA member companies account for approximately 90% of the domestic market.
